Job Requirements

Role/ Job Title: Credit Team Leader-Loan Against Property.

Function/ Department: Retail Underwriting.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide recommendations regarding improvements and changes to the credit policies and procedures, documenting and circulating policies, to ensure that all requirements are fulfilled, and risks are mitigated while delivering a high-quality service to customers.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of existing business portfolio and recommend changes to contribute to development of business.
  • Ensure implementation of the policies to ensure high quality of the retail portfolio while meeting the target TAT.
  • Employ tools such as automation and digitization to increase process efficiency.
  • Ensure the successful adoption of internal compliances & regulatory framework across the business.
  • Coordinate with internal audit and regulatory audit regarding their various requirements and address their concerns.
  • Collaborate with Collections to drive down the net credit loss and delinquency metrics by ensuring that trends on delinquent customers are identified and communicated to the Collections team to take corrective action through new sourcing.
  • Review and approve credit proposals given the discretionary authority and escalate others to those with the appropriate approval authority while ensuring compliance with the bank's credit policy.

Second Responsibilities

  • Total processing cost per file against the target to be reduced.
  • Delightful experience to the customer for providing E2E target and faster processing of files.
  • Guide & train Pod members to progress in their career path.
  • Ensure vendor quality & TAT as per target.

Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities

  • Monitor key parameters on productivity, hiring quality and attrition rates and make necessary improvements Champion IDFC First's customer first culture by driving the team to take up high degree servicing norms to ensure absolute customer delight.
  • Attract and retain best-in-class talent for key roles in their reporting structure.
  • Drive co-operation with the credit, operations, and business team to ensure smooth functioning of business.

Key Success Metrics

  • Maintaining E2 E target laid down by company. Guide and train team members for next role.
  • Maintaining synergy among team members.

Graduation: Any.

Post-graduation: Any.

Experience: 8+ years of work experience.
