About the Role
A credit professional with expertise in supply chain finance and working capital lending, seeking to drive sound credit decisions through in-depth financial analysis, risk assessment, and proactive portfolio monitoring while maintaining high credit quality and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Credit appraisals – Anchor proposals, Spoke proposals which will include Vendor Finance, Inventory Finance, Sales Bills discounting, Purchase bill discounting, Pre-shipment, TREDS, WC loans etc.
- Conduct historical financial analysis along with futuristic projections scenarios, Industry and Market trends, transaction analysis (i.e. structure issues, collateral, etc.), cash flow analysis/financial modelling, rating sheets that identify major trends, issues, identifying key risks, strengths and weaknesses of the client/transaction. Provide complete assessment and recommendations to sanctioning authority.
- Analysis of Financial statements (Profit & Loss Account, Balance sheet, Cash flow Statement. Ratio Analysis)
- Preparation and timely updating of Anchor Notes (New and Annual Reviews). Recommendations as to changes in Credit Policy, Credit Parameters, Internal Rating score card etc.
- Monitor customer performance through regular review of accounts, customer visits and financial statements. Initiate EWS as required for portfolio health.
- Initiate discussions with Risk / Business/ Product/ Compliance/ Operations/legal Team as deemed appropriate.
- Present / underwrite proposals to the relevant sanctioning authority.
- Ensure adherence to control systems to minimize risk of loss to the bank.
- Monitor and maintain credit quality to ensure minimal non-performing advances.
- Frequently interacting with the customers for case appraisals and ensure consistent delivery of high quality services through meetings, Site visits.
Qualifications
- MBA/PGDM/CA/Any Post Graduation
- Senior Manager - 6 to 8yrs, AVP - 8 to 12yrs
- Experience in supply chain finance / regular working capital loans.
Required Skills
- Ability to assess financial statements, market trends, and risk factors.
- Precision in analyzing data and preparing reports.
- Proficiency in software and tools used for risk assessment and financial analysis.
- Ability to convey complex information clearly to stakeholders.
