Enhancing risk strategy across the credit lifecycle, including origination, scorecard cut-off management, affordability assessment, limit management, and cross-product pre-approval
Generating and delivering presentations on credit risk performance and significant trends
Actively managing the risk and reward balance of credit risk strategy for our portfolio, utilizing internal and external data
Understanding and developing key metrics to assess the performance of risk strategies
Participating in anti-fraud rules and AML rules formulations
Interaction with marketing, collection, reporting, finance, regulatory compliance and IT teams
Interaction with a financial regulator (RBI)
Your profile:
Bachelor's/master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, economics, finance, computer science etc.
Extensive experience (preferably, over 5 years) in credit risk for unsecured products (Credit cards, Personal loans, Payday loans etc) and risk strategy development within consumer lending organizations of any type (banks, NBFCs).
Experiences within the fintech organizations dealing with online lending is strongly preferred
Experience working with large data sets and using analysis/modeling to drive business results
Experience with databases (SQL) and MS Excel skills
Preferably, some knowledge of Python for data analysis
Ability to converse clearly and concisely in English (verbally and written)
Ability to deliver results both working independently and as part of a team
