Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Credit Manager role based in Gurugram. The Credit Manager will oversee the assessment, approval, and monitoring of credit applications across assigned portfolios. Daily responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, analyzing creditworthiness, evaluating risk exposure, and setting appropriate credit limits and terms. The role involves developing and implementing credit policies, coordinating with sales and finance teams to ensure balanced growth and risk control, and monitoring portfolio performance through regular reports and dashboards. The Credit Manager will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements, handling escalated cases, and recommending process improvements to strengthen the overall credit framework.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong expertise in Credit Management and Credit, including evaluating creditworthiness and structuring credit limits.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Credit Risk Management and Analytical Skills to assess portfolio performance, identify risk trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Candidates should possess sound knowledge of Finance to interpret financial statements, understand cash flows, and support prudent lending decisions.
  • Relevant experience in banking, NBFCs, or other financial institutions, particularly in credit or risk roles, is beneficial.
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, commerce, business, or a related field is preferred; advanced certifications in credit or risk management are an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, proficiency with spreadsheet and reporting tools, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams are important.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to present complex credit analyses to stakeholders, are beneficial.
