This role involves overseeing and managing the secured credit portfolio in Kurnool, ensuring adherence to credit policies, risk assessment, and effective loan disbursement and recovery.
Job Responsibilities:**
- Manage the entire secured credit lifecycle, including origination, appraisal, sanctioning, and monitoring for retail and SME clients.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis, risk assessment, and due diligence on loan applications, specifically for secured products (e.g., mortgages, loans against property).
- Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, regulatory guidelines, and legal requirements.
- Develop and implement effective strategies for credit risk mitigation and portfolio management.
- Lead and mentor a team of credit officers, providing guidance and training on credit assessment and underwriting processes.
- Monitor portfolio performance, identify early warning signals, and initiate corrective actions to minimize non-performing assets (NPAs).
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand business requirements and provide suitable credit solutions.
- Prepare and present credit reports and analyses to senior management.
- Handle customer queries and grievances related to secured credit products.

Job Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CA, CFA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in credit management, with a strong focus on secured lending products.
- Proven track record of managing a significant secured credit portfolio.
- In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, credit appraisal techniques, and risk management principles.
