Job Description

Role – Investment (Credit) Analyst

Location - Mumbai

About the role:

Part of Investment team at Vivriti Asset Management. Role would include portfolio investment, monitoring and research for various debt schemes to be managed by Vivriti AMC with a focus on FI investments.

Key Responsibilities:

Fund deployment phase:

  • Independently conduct due diligences, prepare investment notes, seek IC approvals
  • Seek, analyze, and structure data provided by clients
  • Thorough field diligence & meetings with the senior management of investee entities
  • Prepare insightful credit report for presentation to Investment Committee with cogent recommendations

Post deployment phase:

  • Identifying early warning signs of credit deterioration
  • Investment monitoring (desk and field), field visit, management meetings, calls, etc.
  • Regular Updates to Investment Committee and investor reporting
  • Suggestions on portfolio Rebalancing

Credit Research:

  • Track assigned sectors closely and publish regular research reports to internal and external stakeholders

Desired skills and experiences:

  • Preferred Qualification CA/CFA/MBA
  • Possess 2-5 years of relevant credit assessment experience / lending experience / credit rating / transaction advisory.
  • Familiarity with financial services sector (NBFCs) including ABS (DA/PTC).
  • Be brilliant with numbers, analysing financial statements, managing and interpreting data and solving problems - to aid in taking investment decisions.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel. Demonstrable experience in spreadsheet-based financial modelling and analytics.
  • Skilled in expressing ideas clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Has a strong analytical and business judgement in respect of credit matters, and the ability to form an overview of things.
  • Possess strong people skills which will give you the ability to consult with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Be as ambitious as we are, and hence be willing to go out of her / his way to burn the midnight oil to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Possess a good eye for detail and have demonstrated ability to work under pressure.
  • Be a highly motivated, proactive, and resilient individual.
  • Be willing to travel extensively pan-India for on-field monitoring of clients.
