Title - Credit Analyst (Fixed Income & Alternates)

Role Overview

The Credit Analyst is responsible for evaluation and continuous monitoring of fixed income investments including corporate bonds, REITs and InvITs. The role requires strong grounding in credit fundamentals, financial analysis and risk assessment.

Key Responsibilities

New Credit Evaluation

Perform fundamental credit analysis of bonds, REITs and InvITs

Analyze financial statements, cash flows, leverage and coverage metrics

Assess business risk, capital structure and instrument features

Track sector dynamics and regulatory environment

Prepare credit notes for investment decision-making

Portfolio Monitoring

Monitor existing exposures on an ongoing basis

Track performance versus underwriting assumptions

Identify early warning signals and flag risks

Periodically update internal credit views

Relative Value & Risk Assessment

Evaluate risk-return across opportunities

Support portfolio positioning with credit insights

Stakeholder Interaction

Participate in management interactions and due diligence

Work closely with internal investment teams

Key Requirements

• CA / CFA / MBA (Finance)

Experience

Total Experience 4-8 years out of which minimum 3 years in credit research / fixed income (AMC, NBFC, Bank, Insurance company,Rating Agency)

Skillset

• Strong financial statement and cash flow analysis

• Understanding of credit metrics and fixed income instruments

• Basic familiarity with REITs / InvITs

• Proficiency in Excel and financial modelling

• Clear written and verbal communication
