Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Credit Risk Evaluation: Conduct detailed credit assessments for B2B clients applying for working capital loans (CC, OD, Channel Finance, Bills Discounting).
  • Financial Analysis: Review and analyze financial statements, cash flows, and other relevant documentation to assess the creditworthiness of businesses.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage and mitigate risk associated with a working capital loan portfolio (50 Lac+), ensuring that all decisions align with company risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
  • Loan Structuring: Support structuring of credit products for clients, ensuring the loans are aligned with the client's business needs while managing associated risks.
  • Risk Mitigation Strategies: Develop and recommend strategies to reduce credit risk, while ensuring compliance with internal policies and guidelines.
  • Customer & Stakeholder Interaction: Engage with clients and relationship managers to gather all necessary documentation, clarify details, and make informed lending decisions.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Maintain comprehensive records and reports of credit risk assessments, ensuring all actions are documented and compliant with audit standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Educational Qualifications: CA or Full-time MBA in Finance.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in the banking/NBFC sector, with at least 2 years of experience in working capital financing (CC/OD/Channel Finance/Bills Discounting).
  • Industry: Experience within theBank/NBFCsectors (Fintech experience is not preferred).
  • Portfolio Size: Proven ability to handle a B2B portfolio of50 Lac+in working capital loans.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding ofcredit risk assessment, financial analysis, and risk management principles related to working capital finance.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients, internal teams, and senior management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in aCredit RiskorCredit Underwritingrole.
  • Good understanding of regulatory compliance, risk management frameworks, and internal policies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while ensuring high attention to detail and accuracy.
