Job Description

Job Title: Credit Analyst

Experience: 1-3 yr

Job Summary:

As a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of individuals

applying for loans. You will assess financial information such as income statements, and

credit reports to determine the risk involved in extending credit to the applicant. You will

analyze the information provided by the borrower to determine if the loan is suitable for the

applicant and if the applicant is suitable for the loan. You will also review loan agreements

to ensure that the terms and conditions of the loan are appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect and analyze financial data of applicants to determine their creditworthiness

Evaluate credit risk, develop credit profiles, and recommend appropriate credit limits

Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant information to

determine the creditworthiness of potential borrowers

Verify the accuracy of financial data and ensure that all financial statements comply

with relevant regulations

Assess the borrower's ability to pay back the loan by reviewing the borrower's

financial history, credit score, and other financial data

Communicate with borrowers to obtain additional financial information or to discuss

their credit status

Monitor borrowers creditworthiness and financial performance over time to assess

credit risk and identify potential problems

Work closely with loan officers to ensure timely processing of loan applications

Keep up-to-date with changes in lending practices, regulations, and credit risk

assessment tools

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field

Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze financial statements and credit

reports

Knowledge of lending practices, credit risk assessment tools, and regulatory

compliance

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex

financial information to non-financial stakeholders

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight
