About the RoleWe're looking for a Creative Video Editor with hands-on experience in micro-dramas, episodic series, or scripted digital content. This role is for someone who can visualize the story on the timeline, understand character arcs, emotional beats, and pacing, and turn raw footage into engaging, binge-worthy episodes.
You'll play a key role in shaping short-form narrative content designed for digital platforms, owning the storytelling from rough cut to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Edit micro-dramas, short series, and episodic content with strong narrative flow
- Visualize scripts and footage to build emotion, tension, and story continuity
- Shape performances through pacing, reaction shots, and rhythm
- Maintain consistency in tone, mood, and storytelling across episodes
- Collaborate with prompt engineers, creative team to align on creative vision
- Handle scene transitions, sound design, music selection, and pacing
- Adapt edits for platform-specific formats (vertical, short-form, episodic cuts)
- Implement feedback while protecting narrative clarity and emotional impact
Required Skills & Qualifications- Proven experience editing micro-dramas, web series, short films, or episodic content
- Strong storytelling and cinematic sensibility
- Advanced proficiency in Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve
- Excellent understanding of pacing, continuity, and performance editing
- Ability to independently visualize and execute a story from raw footage
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in a production environment
Preferred (Nice to Have)- Experience with After Effects or cinematic motion graphics
- Knowledge of sound design, dialogue editing, and basic color grading
- Familiarity with OTT, short-form drama platforms, or digital series formats
- Understanding of audience retention and hook-based storytelling
- Experience working under production schedules and tight deadlines
