Job Title: Creative Video Editor
Location: New Delhi (GK-I)
Department: Creative Production
Company: Wevoir Productions Pvt. Ltd. (Novella)
Role Overview
We're looking for a Creative Video Editor who can craft timeless, emotionally rich wedding films, teasers, and reels. This role requires someone who is technically strong, musically sensitive, and creatively driven — someone who understands the emotion in weddings, the rhythm of storytelling, and the cinematic identity that defines Novella.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit cinematic wedding films, teasers, and reels with strong emotional storytelling.
- Select background music, perform sound syncing, and execute basic music mastering.
- Use color grading, transitions, pacing, and visual rhythm that match Novella's luxury aesthetic.
- Work with raw footage and collaborate with cinematography teams to choose highlight moments.
- Design graphics, titles, overlays, and visual elements required for films or social media content.
- Understand couple stories and translate them into cinematic narratives.
- Maintain project timelines and ensure timely delivery of all edits.
- Explore new editing styles, music trends, and creative techniques to elevate output.
- Create platform-specific edits for Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms.
- Maintain proper backup of all files and follow the company's post-production workflow.
- Uphold clean communication with the creative team, photographers, and planners.
- Maintain confidentiality and never release any content externally without approval.
Requirements
- Proficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Strong understanding of music, rhythm, beats, and emotional pacing.
- Experience editing weddings (mandatory).
- Ability to work under tight timelines and dynamic revisions.
- Knowledge of color grading, sound design, and cinematic editing patterns.
- Understanding of luxury aesthetics and emotional storytelling.
- Basic skills in graphics design (Photoshop, After Effects, or Canva).
- Open to late-night deliverables during peak wedding season.
- Strong attention to detail, discipline, and visual storytelling.
Ideal Candidate
A storyteller first, and an editor second. Someone who understands that weddings are emotional journeys, not just cut-and-join timelines — someone who can translate music, visuals, and emotion into films that feel timeless and luxurious.
