Role Overview
We are looking for a Video Editor who specializes in performance-driven paid marketing videos. In this role, you'll create high-performing ads for Meta, Google, YouTube, and other paid channelsvideos that capture attention in the first 2 seconds, communicate value quickly, and convert viewers into customers.
You'll work closely with the performance marketing, creative, and content teams to design thumb-stopping creatives that align with KSHM's brand identity while delivering strong results.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit paid ads, D2C performance creatives, UGC-style videos, product explainers, and high performance video formats for Meta Ads and Youtube.
- Craft multiple ad versions focused on hook testing, messaging experimentation, and performance optimization.
- Handle post-production tasks: cutting, pacing, color correction, audio syncing, transitions, and basic VFX.
- Work closely with performance marketers to understand ad goals, metrics, and insights, and adapt creatives accordingly.
- Maintain consistency in brand aesthetics while making ads fast-paced, conversion-led, and platform-optimized.
- Stay updated on paid media trends, UGC formats, high-performing hooks, and editing styles that convert.
- Organize and manage raw footage and project files.
- Create basic 2D animations or motion graphics where required.
- Contribute creative ideas for new ad formats, scripts, and content angles.
Requirements
- 14 years of experience in video editing, preferably in D2C, fashion, or performance marketing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong understanding of ad psychology, visual storytelling, and retention tactics.
- Experience with short-form content (Reels, Shorts, Ads).
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Bonus: Experience with UGC ads, motion graphics, or A/B testing ad formats
