The Gist

Are you a Creative Strategist who gets a rush from brand frameworks, or a Copywriter

who understands why a CTA belongs in a specific quadrant At BASIL, we're tired of the

creative vs. strategy divorce. We're looking for one person to stage a reconciliation.

We need a dual threat: Someone who can draft a soul-stirring manifesto in the morning

and build a robust creative asset plan for a high stake performance marketing campaign by

lunch.

What You'll Be Doing

1. The Right Brain (The Wordsmith)

• Craft stop-the-scroll copy that doesn't just sound good but feels right.

• Owning the brand voice across diverse sectors, from high-concept brand films to

snappy digital ads.

• Ideating Big Ideas that aren't just creative for the sake of it, but creative for the sake

of the brief.

2. The Left Brain (The Architect)

• Applying Brand Strategy Frameworks to turn vague client goals into iron-clad

creative campaigns.

• Mapping out creative asset journeys, knowing exactly what content is needed for

awareness, consideration, and conversion.

• Collaborating with the performance team to ensure our art is working its part.

The Must-Haves

• 4 Years of Agency Battle Scars: You've navigated the chaos and come out with a

portfolio that proves you can think and execute.

• Dual Literacy: You can talk about The Hero's Journey and Search Engine Results

Pages in the same breath.

• Strategy First: You don't start writing until you know the Who, Why, and How.

• The Technical Edge: While you aren't a media buyer, you have a theoretical grasp of

SEO, SEM, and Performance Marketing. You know that a great headline is useless

if no one finds it, and a high-ranking ad is useless if it's boring. You get the drift.
