The ideal candidate should understand social-first storytelling, be comfortable on shoots, coordinate smoothly with internal teams and external production partners, and have the ability to create rough cut edits when required.
Key Responsibilities
Content Production
- Shoot reels, short-form videos, behind-the-scenes content, and brand-led social assets.
- Translate creative ideas and scripts into executable production plans.
- Ensure every output matches the brand's tone, visual language, and platform requirements.
Pre-Production
- Plan shoot requirements including shot lists, moodboards, references, locations, props, talent, wardrobe, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate with creative, strategy, account management, and brand teams to understand briefs clearly.
- Prepare production schedules, call sheets, and basic shoot plans.
Production
- Manage on-ground shoot execution with attention to framing, lighting, talent direction, and overall quality.
- Liaison with production houses, videographers, photographers, stylists, editors, talent agencies, and vendors.
- Ensure shoots run smoothly, efficiently, and within timelines.
Post-Production
- Coordinate with editors, motion designers, sound teams, and external partners for final delivery.
- Be comfortable creating rough cut edits to establish structure, pacing, flow, and direction.
- Review edits, give clear feedback, and ensure final films are aligned with the approved creative direction.
Project & Vendor Management
- Track timelines, production deliverables, revisions, and final exports.
- Manage communication between internal teams, clients, and production partners.
- Maintain a network of reliable production houses, creators, freelancers, and vendors.
Requirements
- Prior experience in creative production, content creation, film production, social media content, or agency production.
- Strong understanding of reels, short-form video formats, social trends, and platform-first storytelling.
- Hands-on shooting experience using phone, DSLR/mirrorless cameras, or basic production setups.
- Basic editing knowledge and ability to create rough cuts using tools like Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar.
- Good eye for framing, pacing, transitions, music, lighting, and visual composition.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple shoots and timelines in a fast-paced agency environment.
- Comfortable working with brands, creators, influencers, vendors, and production partners.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working on branded content, digital campaigns, reels, influencer content, or performance-led social assets.
- Basic knowledge of camera, lighting, sound, and production equipment.
- Ability to source references, build moodboards, and understand visual treatment notes.
- Familiarity with AI tools, social media trends, and creator-style content formats is a plus.
Ideal Candidate
- Someone who is part producer, part creator, and part problem-solver. You should be able to walk into a brand brief, understand what needs to be made, plan the shoot, coordinate the right people, capture strong content, and guide it through edit until it is ready to go live.
