Role Overview:

We are looking for Creative Writers and Creative Leads (Indian Writers for the US Market) to adapt long-form Crime & Thriller fiction into serialized, audio-first scripts tailored for a US audience. The role focuses on transforming international source material into culturally resonant US narratives while preserving emotional depth, pacing, and genre authenticity.

This opportunity is open to both hands-on writers and experienced creative leaders, depending on experience and scope.

Key Responsibilities:

Writing & Adaptation

  • Adapt long-form Crime & Thriller stories into serialized scripts for the US market
  • Localize content to suit US cultural settings, language, tone, and audience expectations
  • Maintain narrative continuity, emotional depth, and strong genre hooks
  • Use AI and tech tools to streamline rewriting, localization, and editorial workflows
  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Lead to ensure tone, pacing, and character consistency

Editorial Quality

  • Ensure high editorial standards across storytelling, dialogue, pacing, and structure
  • Contribute to a consistent, high-quality content pipeline

Additional Responsibilities Creative Lead Role

  • Lead US Crime & Thriller show launches with a focus on audience retention and resonance
  • Own end-to-end editorial quality across a high-volume pipeline (4060+ chapters/week)
  • Mentor and manage a team of writers, providing structured feedback and guidance
  • Set editorial standards and drive excellence in long-form serialized storytelling

What We're Looking For

Creative Writer:

  • 36 years of fiction writing or editorial experience in English
  • Strong storytelling skills with an understanding of long-form and serialized narratives
  • Good grasp of US culture, language nuances, and reader/listener expectations
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work with AI/tech-enabled tools

Creative Lead:

  • 6+ years of fiction or editorial experience, with 2+ years in a lead or mentorship role
  • Deep expertise and passion for the Crime & Thriller genre
  • Proven experience adapting long-form narratives into serialized formats
  • Strong editorial instincts with the ability to scale quality across large volumes of content
