The Creative Executive (Contract/Freelancer) at STAGE will lead the overall creative vision, strategy, and execution of Micro Drama content across all formats. The role demands a visionary storyteller who deeply understands cinematic language, audience psychology, and cultural nuances, while maintaining creative excellence and market relevance.
The Creative Producer will be responsible for ideating and developing high-impact original IPs, supervising the full content lifecycle, and ensuring every story aligns with STAGE's mission Entertainment First in Culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop engaging dialogues and screenplays specifically for micro drama formats (short-duration, high-retention content).
- Play an active role in concept selection, evaluating story ideas based on audience appeal, platform suitability, and micro drama viability.
- Understand micro drama storytellinghooks, cliffhangers, pacing, and emotional beats.
- Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and the post-production team to ensure the script translates effectively on screen.
- Work with the editing team and have a clear understanding of post-production workflows, including pacing, cuts, and narrative flow.
- Contribute creatively during scripting, shooting, and post-production stages.
Requirements
- Prior experience working on micro dramas or short-form narrative content.
- Strong command over dialogue writing and screenplay structure.
- Practical knowledge of post-production and editing processes.
- Ability to assess and refine concepts with a story-first and audience-first approach.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
