Position Overview
- We are looking for a visionary Creative Director to lead the creative vision, strategy, and execution across all our events and departments. This role requires a dynamic leader who can blend storytelling, design innovation, and business alignment while mentoring a multidisciplinary team to deliver world-class event experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Strategy & Leadership
- Define and lead the creative strategy and vision for all events, ensuring alignment with client objectives and Kahani's brand identity.
- Strategize seasonal and off-season creative department goals with detailed action plans.
- Conceptualize and oversee event themes, set designs, installations, and décor with strong storytelling elements.
- Research global design, cultural, and industry trends to integrate fresh and innovative ideas into event concepts.
- Competitor analysis and market study for creative benchmarking and differentiation.
Creative Execution & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the creative team (designers, stylists, 3D developers, etc.) to deliver high-quality outputs.
- Supervise the development of mood boards, 3D visualizations, mock-ups, and presentations for client pitches.
- Ensure feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and flawless execution of creative ideas in collaboration with production & operations teams.
- Oversee onboarding and coordination with freelancers for concept/theme development.
- Drive department-wide accountability for training, development, and documentation (layout variations + venue understanding).
Graphic Design Department
- Define seasonal and off-season roadmaps for the Graphic Design department.
- Ensure all graphics meet aesthetic standards and client-specific (HNI) requirements.
- Monitor timelines, productivity, and training for graphic design team members.
- Establish team matrix and long-term strategy for both Creative & Graphics departments.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Attend client meetings, venue recces, and maintain strong site presence for HNI clients.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to ensure the creative voice extends seamlessly across branding, communication, and social media.
- Uphold quality control for all creative assets and final event execution.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 6+ years in Creative Leadership roles within Events, Advertising, or Design industries.
- Education: Bachelor's/Master's in Design, Fine Arts, Creative Media, or related field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing large-scale event concepts and innovative design projects.
- Excellent leadership, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple teams, deadlines, and large-scale creative projects simultaneously.
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional departments (Production, Operations, Marketing, HR).
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, venue visits, and on-ground event execution.

Salary Range
- ₹40,000 – ₹50,000 per month (based on experience & skill fit)
