About the Role

BrandStory Digital is seeking an experienced and visionary Creative Director to lead our multidisciplinary creative team. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking, strong aesthetic sensibility, and leadership skills to deliver outstanding brand and digital experiences. This role requires someone who can inspire creativity, drive innovation, and ensure creative excellence across all client touchpoints from branding and campaigns to digital experiences and integrated marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Leadership & Vision

  • Define and drive the overall creative vision and direction for the agency's clients and projects.
  • Lead and inspire a cross-functional team of designers, writers, strategists, and motion artists to produce cutting-edge creative work.
  • Champion design excellence, storytelling, and innovation in every project.
  • Translate business objectives and brand strategies into powerful creative ideas that connect with audiences.

Strategy & Collaboration

  • Partner with the strategy, content, and marketing teams to develop integrated brand and campaign concepts.
  • Lead creative pitches, presentations, and client workshops articulating the strategic thinking behind design decisions.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to shape the agency's creative offering and growth roadmap.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of client industries, audience behaviors, and market trends to inform creative direction.

Project Oversight & Quality Assurance

  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and creative consistency across channels (digital, print, video, and experiential).
  • Review and approve all major creative outputs, maintaining BrandStory's high standards of design and storytelling.
  • Implement robust creative processes, workflows, and review mechanisms for efficiency and quality control.

Team Development & Culture

  • Mentor, coach, and develop creative talent within the team.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning.
  • Promote collaboration across disciplines and create an environment where great ideas thrive.
  • Manage resource planning, recruitment, and performance evaluations within the creative department.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in brand strategy, design systems, campaign ideation, and digital-first experiences.
  • Deep understanding of design principles, storytelling, user experience, and creative strategy.
  • Proficiency in creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, After Effects, and other emerging design platforms.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to balance creative vision with business and client objectives.
  • Strong strategic thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work with timelines.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, Advertising, or related fields.
  • 710 years of experience in creative leadership roles within branding, advertising, or digital agencies.
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams and delivering large-scale creative projects across industries.
  • Experience managing client relationships and presenting creative strategies to senior stakeholders.
