Role overview: We are seeking a highly creative Graphic Designer with strong illustration and sketching skills, specifically for apparel design. The ideal candidate should have prior client-facing experience, be well-versed in Western fashion culture, and bring strong conceptual and visual storytelling abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Create original illustrations, graphics, and print designs for apparel.
- Develop hand-drawn sketches and convert them into digital artwork.
- Work independently to understand the design briefs and bring design concepts to life.
- Interpret Western fashion trends into relevant graphical applications.
- Present design ideas and incorporate feedback effectively.
- Deliver high-quality, production-ready files in line with brand standards.
Requirements
- 25 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in the fashion industry. (Exceptions can be made for the right candidates)
- Strong digital vector illustration, typography skills and sketching skills.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal/written English).
- Understanding of Western fashion sensibilities and design aesthetics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
