Creative and Design Trainee - Entry Level

We're PurpleChalk—a full-service creative agency that loves bold ideas, beautiful visuals, and brands that stand out. And we're looking for Junior Creative Trainees who can jump in immediately and start creating magic with us.

As a Junior Creative Trainee, you'll support our design and branding team on real-time projects—from social media campaigns to full-blown brand visuals. You'll get hands-on experience and work closely with creatives who are just as obsessed with good design as you are.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing creatives for social media, campaigns, branding and internal projects
• Support senior designers with visual research, references, and basic layouts
• Work with tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Procreate to build fresh visuals
• Create moodboards and help visualise concepts based on creative briefs
• Collaborate with content writers, developers, and the strategy team
• Keep up with design trends, industry aesthetics, and what's hot on the feed
• Accept feedback, iterate quickly, and constantly upskill

Bonus if you:

Have a portfolio or samples of your work

Know a bit of motion, typography or UI basics

Who You Are

• A recent grad or self-taught designer with strong visual taste
• Comfortable using Photoshop, Illustrator, or Procreate
• Obsessed with clean design, fonts, and colour combinations
• You know good design when you see it—and want to create it too
