Job Description Overview
The Oracle EBS Technical Consultant will design, develop, and support Oracle EBS R12 technical solutions with a strong focus on Oracle Financials modules (AP, GL, FA) and Oracle Financials for India (OFI). The role involves working on Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Workflow, and OA Framework developments, along with integrations with third-party applications. The consultant will collaborate closely with functional teams to deliver robust and scalable business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle Forms and Reports aligned with business requirements.
- Develop and modify SQL/PLSQL, Forms, Reports, and XML Publisher (BI Publisher) components.
- Work extensively on Oracle Financials modules: Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), and OFI (Oracle Financials for India).
- Customize and extend Oracle EBS Forms using Forms Builder and custom.pll.
- Implement and enhance Form Personalization and OA Framework (OAF) Personalization.
- Develop and maintain Oracle Workflow Builder processes.
- Build and support interfaces for AP/GL/FA and integrations with third-party applications.
- Develop and troubleshoot OAF pages and enhance EBS functionality.
- Work on data conversion, migration, and integration activities from legacy systems to Oracle EBS.
- Develop and support XML Publisher (BI Publisher) reports for financial reporting needs.
- Support production issues, perform debugging, and ensure system stability.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform unit testing and system testing of developed components.
Required Skills
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in Oracle EBS Technical development.
- Strong experience in Oracle EBS R12, preferably in Financials modules (AP, GL, FA).
- Good exposure to Oracle Financials for India (OFI).
- Strong proficiency in:
- SQL / PL/SQL
- Oracle Forms & Reports
- XML Publisher (BI Publisher)
- Oracle Workflow Builder
- Experience in Form Personalization and OA Framework (OAF) development.
- Strong knowledge of RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions).
- Experience in building and supporting interfaces for AP, GL, and FA modules.
- Ability to work on integrations between Oracle EBS and external systems.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
Educational Qualification
- B.E. / B.Tech (Computer Engineering / Information Technology)
Additional Skills (Good To Have)
- Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Experience with SOA / Web Services (SOAP & REST)
- Performance tuning and optimization in Oracle EBS environments
