About Central Processing Unit:

The Central Processing Unit handles onboarding, collaterals and logistics. It on-boards retail liability customers of CASA, TIO, Sole Prop, PPF, NPS, APY through scrutiny and data entry. Retail loan customers are on-boarded through loan account authorization and payments process, rural lending customers are onboarding through Agri account opening, funding, modifications and renewals. Merchant acquiring is done through scrutiny and QC of vendor documents. It also handles scrutiny of Re-KYC, minor to major conversions, creation of NCIF and Assets customers. Collaterals & Logistics unit of the Bank is responsible for managing all printing and delivery of customer deliverables across the Bank. Key deliverables include printing and dispatch of cheque books, debit cards, credit cards etc. This unit also strives for process improvement initiative of CPU. The unit also takes care of debit and credit card PIN printing and also RMC of liabilities AOF.

About the Role:

The CPU Retail Loans team is responsible for Loan Ac opening, authorization and payment processing. Products handled by Retail loans include PL, AL, HL, LAP, EL, TL, LAS, TCDC, Tractor loans. Loan Ac opening and authorization happens through RPA/BOT and manually through CAS & LMS module and Finnacle. Customer payments are initiated through internal transfers, DD issuance, NEFT & RTGS. The team also handles the subsequent disbursement and re-scheduling of requests of Mortgage and Education loan customers. Reconciliation of open entries with respect to PF, DLP ACS, Insurance payments etc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring overall operations of MAB Department and Rural Lending Department to ensure smooth functioning of the activities conducted within minimum TAT and maintain the accuracy & efficiency levels & ensure equitable distribution of work.
  • Ensure scrutiny and verification of given IPG forms and all the KYC guidelines are followed at the time of scrutiny with 100 % accuracy and all irregularities has been properly updated in onboarding software (MAB)
  • Rural Lending- Monitoring Service Quality for the activities covering account opening, renewal & modification.
  • Responsible for Mail Management, Minimization of queries and submission of presentations/reports/MIS within stipulated time and with precise information
  • Ensure all processes are compiled while processing the applications and NIL critical audit observations
  • Responsible for cost saving, process automation and initiatives

Qualifications:

Optimal qualification for success on the job is:

  • Graduate/ MBA preferred
  • Additional Certificate course related to Banking sector
