CPU LLM Optimize Engineer

About the Role

Qualcomm is seeking a systems‑minded AI Performance Engineer to map next‑generation AI workloads onto our cutting‑edge accelerator platforms. You will analyze end‑to‑end system KPIs—power, performance, and TCO—across SoC, memory, and networking, helping shape Qualcomm's AI system strategy for data centers, physical AI, and next‑gen computing devices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong understanding of end-to-end system KPIs (power, performance, TCO) for advanced AI workloads such as LLMs, MoE, vector databases, and multimodal AI. Proficient in mapping new workloads to Qualcomm systems using scripting (Python or similar). Deep knowledge of state-of-the-art workloads, strong problem-solving, creativity, and excellent communication and influence skills. Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments. Master's or PhD preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 8+ years, Master's with 5+ years, or PhD with 4+ years of Systems Engineering (or related) experience.
