THE ROLE:
The AMD Cores System Validation team is seeking a dynamic and experienced Cores Validation Engineer(Staff) to join our growing team focused on the Zen CPU. In this role, you will perform hands-on, system-level debug to isolate failures to a specific IP or domain. Your work will span from architecture-level collaboration with pre-silicon teams, to post-silicon bring-up, validation, and enablement, through to production support and customer engagement. This is a highly technical and collaborative position, working directly with products, tools, motherboards, and BIOS/OS in a fast-paced environment.
THE PERSON:
As a key contributor to AMD's server roadmap, you thrive in complex processor architecture, digital design, and validation. You are a collaborative problem solver with strong analytical skills, effective communication across sites/time zones, and the ability to learn quickly and adapt. You enjoy technical challenges, have attention to detail, and can independently drive tasks to completion.
