CPQ Architect

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience on Salesforce platform.
• Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ, Billing, or any other CPQ platform and data migration.
• Experience with at least 4 full-cycle CPQ/Billing project implementations.

Technical Skills:

• Deep understanding of the Quote-to-Cash (QTC) process within Salesforce.
• Expertise in:
• Salesforce CPQ/Billing solutioning and configuration.
• Designing and configuring product catalog, bundles, pricing strategies, quotation processes, order/contract/subscription management.
• Features like advanced approvals, invoice schedulers, general ledger mappings, etc.
• Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud (preferable) and best practices for CPQ/Billing implementations.
• Experience with data migration and deployment of CPQ/Billing components.
• Proven ability to integrate Salesforce with external systems (e.g., Billing platforms, Order Manager, Product Master).
• Capable of delivering custom development when business needs cannot be met through configuration.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct business process reviews to understand client requirements.
• Translate business requirements into Salesforce CPQ/Billing solutions using standard functionalities.
• Lead the configuration and customization of Salesforce CPQ/Billing in line with Salesforce best practices.
• Guide clients in implementing robust, scalable architectures.
• Educate and support clients in maximizing the value of Salesforce CPQ/Billing out-of-the-box features.
• Collaborate with project managers, scrum masters, and cross-functional teams.
• Assist with data migration, deployment, and integration activities.
• Provide ongoing support and enhancements based on evolving business requirements.

Certifications (Required/Preferred):

• Salesforce CPQ Specialist (Must have)
• Salesforce Application Architect (Preferred)
• Salesforce Sales Cloud (Good to have)
• Salesforce Service Cloud (Good to have)
• Any other CPQ product certification (Optional)
