Key Responsibilities
Lead Design Workshops
- Conduct comprehensive workshops with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather integration requirements
- Define scalable and robust integration solutions aligning with project goals
Architect Integration Solutions
- Design end-to-end integration architecture for SAP CPI-DS involving various data sources and targets including customer data lakes
Develop Complex HCI Tasks
- Build and manage intricate HCI tasks to enable data exchange between SAP IBP and systems like ECC, S/4HANA, APO, HANA, flat files, and databases
Scripting and Web Services
- Utilize pre- and post-scripts within CPI-DS tasks
- Leverage web-service-based integration for data retrieval from IBP and uploads to ECC/APO
IBP Integration Expertise
- Apply deep understanding of attributes, master data types, and planning level concepts within IBP for accurate data mapping and flow
Administration and Scheduling
- Oversee scheduling and administration of CPI-DS tasks ensuring reliability and performance
Mentorship and Leadership
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance to grow internal CPI expertise
Project Delivery
- Manage integration deliverables within tight deadlines and dynamic project timelines
Customer Engagement
- Lead CPI-DS integration and configuration activities at customer locations, ensuring strong stakeholder engagement
Required Skills and Experience
- SAP Integration: 5+ years of SAP Integration experience, including 3+ years in SAP CPI-DS and SAP SDI
- Project Delivery: Completed at least 4 full-cycle SAP CPI-DS implementations and 1 full-cycle SAP SDI implementation
- System Integration: Expertise in integrating SAP IBP with ECC, S/4HANA, APO, HANA, BW, Flat Files, and external DB systems
- Functional Knowledge: Good grasp of S/4HANA, ECC, BW, and IBP Integration processes
- CPI-DS & SDI Proficiency: In-depth understanding of configuration, best practices, scripting, and administration
- XML Proficiency: Familiarity with XML-based outputs and inputs used in CPI-DS tasks
- ABAP: Good understanding of ABAP and its role in integration
- IBP Add-ons: Working knowledge of IBP extractors and add-ons
Preferred Qualifications
- HANA Expertise: Familiarity with HANA tables, VDMs, and OData services
- API Integration: Exposure to API development and usage (e.g., MuleSoft, RAML specs)
- IBP Functional Experience: Hands-on knowledge in Demand Planning, S&OP, Inventory Management, Response & Supply
- SAP PI/PO: Understanding of SAP Process Integration/Process Orchestration (PI/PO)
