We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated CPI/DS Lead Consultant to join our team. You will be responsible for leading design workshops, architecting end-to-end integration solutions using SAP Cloud Platform Integration - Data Services (CPI-DS), and mentoring junior team members. This role requires a blend of technical mastery, strong communication skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions for integrating SAP IBP with other critical systems.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead and conduct comprehensive design workshops with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements and define robust integration solutions.
- Design end-to-end integration architectures for CPI-DS, considering various data sources and targets, including customer data lakes.
- Develop intricate HCI tasks to facilitate seamless data exchange between SAP IBP and other critical systems such as SAP ECC, S/4HANA, APO, HANA, and various database systems.
- Utilize Pre-Scripts and Post-Scripts effectively within CPI-DS tasks and possess a strong understanding of web-service based integration.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of attributes, master data types, and planning level concepts within SAP IBP.
- Manage the scheduling and administration of CPI-DS tasks, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of integration flows.
- Mentor and guide junior CPI team members, fostering their growth and technical capabilities.
- Lead the integration and configuration of CPI-DS solutions directly at customer premises.
Skills Required:
- Deep expertise in SAP Cloud Platform Integration - Data Services (CPI-DS) and SAP Data Intelligence (SDI).
- Proficient in integrating SAP IBP with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, APO, HANA, BW, Flat Files, and other database systems.
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP BW, and SAP IBP Integration.
- Good understanding of ABAP programming.
- Familiarity with XML based inputs/outputs used in CPI-DS tasks.
- Good understanding of SAP IBP add-ons and extractors.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead workshops and mentor team members.
- Understanding of HANA tables, Virtual Data Models (VDMs), and OData is a plus.
- Working knowledge of SAP Process Integration (PI) / Process Orchestration (PO) is a plus.
QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
