About the Role
We're looking for a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) to join our dynamic medical coding team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of coding guidelines, healthcare documentation, and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze medical records to assign appropriate CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes.
- Ensure coding accuracy and adherence to AAPC and payer-specific guidelines.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Work collaboratively with quality analysts and team leads to resolve coding discrepancies.
- Stay updated with the latest coding updates and payer policies.
- Meet daily/weekly productivity and accuracy targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- CPC Certification (AAPC) Mandatory.
- 03 years of experience in medical coding (Freshers with CPC welcome).
- Knowledge of E/M, Surgery, Radiology, and Anesthesia coding preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
