About The Role
We are seeking an experienced CPA-certified accounting professional to join our Ahmedabad office. The ideal candidate will have over 5+ years of accounting and financial reporting experience, preferably supporting US-based clients. The role requires strong technical accounting skills, familiarity with US GAAP, and the ability to operate effectively in a remote collaboration environment with US teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for US clients, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and month-end closing.
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and CPA standards.
- Perform account reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and support external audit processes.
- Collaborate with US-based finance teams to deliver accurate and timely financial data.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Zoho.
- Maintain documentation and ensure data integrity for all financial transactions.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- CPA certification (active or in good standing).
- Minimum 5 years of accounting or finance experience (preferably in a US accounting environment).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, and tax principles.
- Advanced Excel and accounting software proficiency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work PST (US time zone) from the Ahmedabad office.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving ability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with US CPA firms or outsourcing companies.
- Exposure to multi-entity or consolidated financial reporting.
- Experience in automation or process improvement in finance operations.
