We are looking for Covio Search Architect as a Full Time for our IT Company.
Location- Remote
Experience- 10+ years
Budget- As per company standard
Notice Period- Immediate Joiner
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end Coveo architecture for B2B/B2C commerce and enterprise product and content search.
- Design sources, catalogues, fields, mappings, indexing pipelines, security, query pipelines, analytics, and machine-learning models.
- Lead discovery workshops and translate business, merchandising, user-experience, and non-functional requirements into a search roadmap.
- Architect secure ingestion using Coveo connectors, Push/Stream APIs, scheduled feeds, and incremental update patterns.
- Design product and content search covering variants/SKUs, facets, sorting, recommendations, multilingual content, customer-specific catalogues, prices, and entitlements.
- Define relevance strategy using ranking expressions, QREs, query rules, dictionaries, filters, boosts, semantic retrieval, and machine-learning-assisted ranking.
- Guide search experience implementation using Coveo Headless, Atomic, Search APIs, and relevant commerce or content-platform integrations.
- Lead Solr/Elasticsearch-to-Coveo migrations, including schema mapping, relevance validation, cutover, and rollback planning.
- Ensure performance, scalability, availability, privacy, security, observability, and production readiness.
- Create architecture documentation, conduct design/code reviews, provide technical leadership, and support estimation.
Required Skills and Experience
- 10+ years of software, digital-platform, enterprise-search, or commerce experience, including 4+ years in an architect or technical-lead role.
- Hands-on experience delivering at least one end-to-end Coveo implementation from discovery through production rollout and optimisation.
- Deep knowledge of Coveo organisations, sources, connectors, catalogues, fields, mappings, security identities, query pipelines, analytics, and machine learning.
- Strong experience in indexing integrations, data modelling, relevance engineering, search analytics, and search-quality measurement.
- Experience with B2B/B2C commerce search, customer-specific catalogues, entitlement filtering, multilingual search, and product/variant models.
- Experience integrating Coveo with platforms such as Adobe Commerce/AEM, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Commerce, Sitecore, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Intershop, or custom platforms.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, OAuth/JWT/SAML, JavaScript/TypeScript, modern UI frameworks, Python, cloud, CI/CD, and production-support practices.
- Experience with Solr-to-Coveo or Elasticsearch-to-Coveo migration is preferred.
- Strong customer-facing communication, workshop facilitation, estimation, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Knowledge of writing Python extensions.
