Project Role: Consultant – Supply Chain & Network Operations
Project Role Description: As a Consultant in Supply Chain & Network Operations, you will be involved in advising clients on optimizing their supply chain and network operations. You will support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of supply chain processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels. You will work on various projects to help businesses achieve supply chain transformation, integrating new technologies and solutions to stay ahead in a competitive landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Optimization: Analyze client supply chain operations, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvement strategies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve service levels across procurement, production, inventory, and distribution.
- Process Design & Reengineering: Lead or participate in the design and reengineering of supply chain processes to streamline workflows, increase process automation, and align with best practices.
- System Implementation & Integration: Work closely with IT and business teams to implement and integrate systems such as ERP, WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), TMS (Transportation Management Systems), and other supply chain tools to improve process efficiency.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Leverage data analytics to identify performance trends, provide insights, and generate reports that drive informed decisions on supply chain activities.
- Demand Planning & Forecasting: Collaborate with business teams to enhance demand forecasting, inventory management, and procurement processes to optimize stock levels, minimize stockouts, and reduce excess inventory.
