We are acting on behalf of a premier global logistics organization to appoint a Country Sales Director to oversee commercial operations and market expansion in India.

As the commercial lead, you will function as the architect of the country's sales organization, responsible for scaling revenue, penetrating high-value verticals, and fostering a culture of excellence within a matrixed global environment.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Commercial Leadership: Architect and execute the national sales strategy, acting as the primary driver for new business acquisition and market share growth.
- Vertical Expansion: Spearhead expansion efforts across core high-growth verticals, including Chemical, Life Sciences, Retail & Consumer, and Industrial/Automotive sectors.
- Strategic Relationship Management: Cultivate and steward long-term partnerships with multinational accounts at the C-suite level, ensuring our solutions align with their global supply chain requirements.
- Operational Integration: Partner directly with the Regional Leadership and Operations teams to synchronize business development with service delivery, ensuring a seamless, port-centric value proposition.
- Organizational Growth: Lead and inspire the local sales team, implementing rigorous KPIs and fostering a hunter culture that consistently exceeds annual budgets.
The Ideal Profile
- Strategic Experience: 10–15+ years of success in logistics and supply chain leadership, with a documented history of creating significant new revenue streams.
- Sector Expertise: Deep understanding of the complexities inherent in the Chemical, Life Science, or Industrial/Automotive verticals.
- Matrix Leadership: A proven ability to navigate and influence in a large, complex, matrixed global organization.
- Academic Excellence: A Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or Master's in Supply Chain Management is strongly preferred.
- Executive Presence: Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to operate at the highest level of corporate diplomacy while maintaining a compliant and integrity-driven mindset.
