Job Description

Oversee all financial operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Support Business by providing input to financial risk assessments, win strategies and execution strategies.
Prepare and present accurate financial reports to support decision-making processes.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions and reconciliations.
Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Supervise and mentor the accounting team to achieve departmental goals.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support business strategies.
Assist business in Bid/No Bid decisions
Advice teams in audits, tax filings, and other statutory compliance requirements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller should have:

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven expertise in financial management and reporting within the Professional Services industry.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in using accounting software and financial tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team effectively.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
