Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Counter Sales role based in Bengaluru. The Counter Sales professional will welcome customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable mattresses, furniture, and accessories that align with Duroflex's comfort and sleep solutions. Responsibilities include demonstrating product features, explaining pricing and offers, handling billing and invoicing, and maintaining accurate sales records. The role also involves maintaining a clean and appealing counter area, managing display stock, and coordinating with the store and inventory teams for product availability. The Counter Sales professional will provide after-sales support, gather customer feedback, and participate in basic product training and promotional activities as required.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage customers, understand requirements, and provide a positive in-store experience.
  • Proven Sales abilities, including consultative selling and closing skills, with an interest in retail or consumer products.
  • Basic Sales Management and Training exposure, such as tracking daily sales, supporting store targets, and learning new product features quickly.
  • Comfort using billing systems or point-of-sale (POS) tools and maintaining accurate records.
  • Prior experience in retail, furniture, or consumer durables is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as per store requirements.
  • Minimum high school diploma; a diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
