About-IIVS:
As an Academic Counsellor at the Indian Institute of Vedic Science (IIVS), youll play a key role in guiding and empowering learners to make informed career and education decisions. This role offers the opportunity to grow within the fast-evolving EdTech industry while working in a supportive, knowledge-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Connect with prospective learners through phone calls, emails to understand their educational background, goals, and interest in Vedic or Occult Sciences.
- Recommend the most suitable learning pathways, astrology programs, or professional certifications aligned with each learners career direction.
- Clearly communicate course details, learning outcomes, tuition options, and career prospects, helping candidates make confident enrollment decisions.
- Build and nurture relationships by offering ongoing guidance and follow-up support throughout the admission journey.
- Maintain and update candidate data in the CRM system, ensuring smooth coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Achieve monthly engagement, conversion, and satisfaction benchmarks, contributing actively to the teams success and institute growth.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelors degree in any discipline (Education, Psychology, or Management preferred but not mandatory).
- 6 months2 years of experience in counselling, academic advising, inside sales, or career services preferred.
- Fresh graduates passionate about education, guidance, and mentoring are welcome to apply.
- Excellent communication, listening, and relationship-building skills with a genuine desire to help learners succeed.
- Awareness of current education and job market trends, upskilling needs, and emerging career paths will be an added advantage.
