Counseling Psychologist

Alpha Healing Center is looking for a Counseling Psychologist to join our clinical team and play a key role in patient recovery, family coordination, and post-discharge continuity of care.

This role goes beyond traditional setups — you'll be actively involved in structured recovery programs, patient engagement, and building a sustained recovery community, working closely with psychologists and psychiatrists.

What You'll Do

• Progress monitoring using standardized scales – as indicated by psychiatrist
• Daily check-in conversation
• Daily life-skills education session – separate for addictions and non-addict groups
• Facilitate Mindful Hour – daily
• Conduct biofeedback sessions of patients.
• Mindfulness training.
• Neurocognitive training through virtual simulation (proposed).
• Induction training on clinical aspects for nursing and non-clinical team.
• Provide assessment and recommendations for appropriate treatments.
• Diagnose and treat various mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
• Review relevant literature, synthesize evidence-based materials, and translate complex behavioral health concepts.
• Writing client's session notes, submitting session's notes to detox in charge after discharge, submitting case history to detox in charge within 7 days.
• Update attendance summary sheet of client for Individual and your group sessions.
• Conduct case management and other administrative tasks as needed.
• Initiate new programs as deemed fit in consultation with Supervisor.
• Other responsibilities as a when told by Adayu-Fortis and Clinical Coordinator.
• Support Client Manager in day to day routine if required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Counseling Psychology or a related field.
• Experience in facilitating group therapy and using biofeedback techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ability to engage and motivate patients.
• Proficiency in maintaining detailed records and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
