Position Summary
The Senior Costing Engineer plays a critical role in supporting PVH's global product development and innovation strategies, particularly for Tommy Hilfiger products across the EMEA, NA, and APAC regions. This role focuses on driving cost competitiveness, optimizing total cost, and improving operational efficiency through robust costing methods, analytical tools, and cross-functional collaboration.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Provide seasonal cost benchmarks at the style level; identify cost gaps and share insights with relevant teams to enhance cost negotiations.
- Develop Should Cost standards for key cost drivers using fact-based costing methodologies.
- Identify and implement cost improvement opportunities through:
- Product re-engineering
- Manufacturing process enhancements
- Material waste reduction
- Lead cost analytics and governance initiatives across the supply chain.
- Support forecasting of macro cost trends, and reconcile actual costs against forecasts for reporting and analysis.
- Assist Costing Leadership in executing global strategic initiatives.

- Internal: TH Global Supply teams, and other cross-functional business units as necessary.
- External: L1 and L2 Suppliers and Vendors.

- Indirect: Functional influence over cross-functional teams

Work Environment
- Based primarily at the Bangalore office.
- Occasional international travel may be required, depending on project needs and leadership direction.

Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Industrial Engineering or related field.
Experience:
- Extensive experience in apparel manufacturing, particularly in industrial engineering and product costing.
- Practical experience in work measurement techniques (e.g., GSD licensed practitioners strongly preferred).
- Certification in Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma is a plus.
- Exposure to supply chain or operational functions in a multinational environment is preferred.
