Enzene is a biopharmaceutical CDMO headquartered in Pune, with operations in New Jersey, USA. We develop and manufacture biosimilars and biologics for global markets on our EU-GMP certified EnzeneX™ platform, across Drug Substance, Drug Product, and CDMO services.

The Role

This role sits in Manufacturing Finance at our Chakan site. You'll own costing, inventory, and MIS reporting. You'll also build the standards, systems, and visibility the function needs as we scale. It's a hands-on role, with as much time on the plant floor as at a desk.

Business-as-Usual

• Own the monthly closure cycle, including Cost Audit, provisioning, and related reporting (recently moved from a quarterly to a monthly cadence)
• Drive data collection and cross-functional coordination for the new Operating MIS, working with SCM, Warehouse, Plant, and IT teams
• Support the higher volume of statutory, internal, and cost audits and close observations on time, alongside BAU reporting

Growth & Transformation

• Build and formalise costing, inventory, and governance SOPs for the function end to end
• Own the annual budget drive from start to sign-off, covering planning and coordination across Opex and Capex
• Expand Power BI dashboards across costing, inventory, and plant MIS
• Map the global supply chain to support sourcing decisions and alternate-vendor evaluation
• Build a single, reliable cost-to-margin view for the CDMO business
• Replace manual, Excel-based corrections with system-driven controls to improve data accuracy
• Centralise US entity (Enzene Inc) data reporting under one process and owner within Manufacturing Finance

What We're Looking For

• CMA qualified
• 5–10 years in costing within a Pharma, Biosimilar, Biologics, or CDMO manufacturing environment
• Strong SAP knowledge, especially the CO module
• Hands-on experience in product and inventory costing, inventory valuation, budgeting, and variance analysis
• Working knowledge of Power BI / MIS reporting
• Experience coordinating cost, statutory, and internal audits
• Comfortable being based full-time at the Chakan site and working closely with plant teams
