Position

Role: Business Finance – Costing & Working Capital

Location: Pune (HO) + Travel to Biomass Banks

Reporting to: Head of Finance / CFO

Role Objective

Drive ₹/MT profitability, working capital efficiency, and cost control across biomass banks by building a ground-up cost model and enabling real-time decision-making.

Business Context

• Inventory-heavy model (4–6 months cycle)

• High working capital deployment

• Offtake dependency (large buyers)

• Multi-location operations with cost leakages

Key Responsibilities

• Build ₹/MT profitability model

• Own biomass bank-level P&L

• Analyse working capital cost

• Track inventory ageing and losses

• Drive cost optimisation with operations

• Deliver MIS and dashboards

Key Deliverables

• ₹/MT profitability dashboard

• Location-wise P&L

• Inventory carrying cost analysis

• Working capital model

• Cost reduction roadmap

Candidate Profile

• CMA qualified

• 3–7 years experience

• Strong Excel modelling

• Experience in logistics / commodity businesses preferred
