About IKIO LED Lighting
IKIO is a US-based LED lighting manufacturer serving Commercial, Industrial, Multi-family, Hospitality, Hazardous Location, and Solar Outdoor projects. We are looking for a Lighting Cost Estimator with hands-on experience in US Division 26 lighting projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze US construction drawings, lighting layouts, and specifications
- Prepare accurate material, labor, and overhead estimates
- Perform quantity take-offs using PlanSwift / OST
- Prepare and manage BOQs, RFQs, RFIs, and vendor comparisons
- Support value engineering to optimize project costs
- Develop pricing, quotations, and bid documents for sales and bids.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and production teams
- Benchmark pricing using vendor quotes, historical data, and market trends
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in lighting or electrical cost estimation
- Proven experience estimating US Division 26 Lighting scope
- Strong understanding of commercial, industrial & Retail lighting fixtures
- Experience with PlanSwift or On-Screen Takeoff (OST)
- Ability to prepare value-engineered cost proposals
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Strong analytical and communication skills
