Job Description:

• Seeking a skilled professional with experience in Product Teardown Should Costing VAVE benchmarking and cost optimization initiatives for electromechanical components in automotive or energy equipment products
• The role involves cross functional collaboration to drive product value and supply chain efficiency

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Product Teardown Should cost analysis for Automotive Energy equipments Tool Dies Mold Costing etc
• Lead VAVE workshops to identify cost saving opportunities
• Collaborate with design sourcing and suppliers to optimize product cost
• Support new product development with early cost estimation
• Analyze supplier quotes and manufacturing processes for cost validation
• Drive supply chain cost reduction and localization strategies

Additional Responsibilities:

• Tech in Mechanicalor Industrial Engineering
• 3 8 years in cost engineering preferably in automotive Medical or energy domains
• Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems and manufacturing processes
• Experience in costing of mechanical parts assemblies involving stamping injection molding die casting forging machining and secondary finishing processes etc
• Experience with VAVE cost modeling tools and supplier negotiations
• Familiarity working on COTS tools like Siemens TcPCM aPriori SEER etc
