We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Controller to join our finance team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and controlling costs across various projects and ensuring the financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze costs related to projects and operations.
- Prepare and maintain detailed cost reports and budgets.
- Assist in the development of financial forecasts and business plans.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting.
- Conduct variance analysis and report on financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 4-10 years of experience in cost control or financial analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools.
- Exceptionally well organized with an aptitude for data, self-directed and highly motivated
- Solid networking and interpersonal skills
- Strong presentation skills, able to explain concepts concisely and accurately
- Understand the entire arc of the business and how productivity impacts profitability
