Job Description:
- Implement, Own and Lead end to end costing process and Preparation & implementation of SOPs that enables regularisation of costing activities
- Prepare and maintain standard cost sheets for all products/services.
- Analyze material, labour, overhead variances and report deviations.
- Support new product costing and feasibility analysis.
- Analysis of cost data and preparation of ad-hoc reports as per business needs.
- Perform product level, process level, Invoice level and customer level analysis to understand cost drivers and performance.
- Identify cost leakage areas and recommend cost-improvement initiatives.
- Drive improvements in ERP cost modules and reporting capabilities.
- Support cross‑functional teams in reducing operational inefficiencies.
- Prepare monthly cost MIS, cost audits support, and management dashboards.
- Monitor inventory valuation (RM, WIP, FG) and ensure accuracy in ERP.
- Reconcile physical vs. book inventory and investigate discrepancies.
- Ensure accurate recording of consumption and stock movements.
- Review existing product pricing periodically to accommodate cost changes.
- Analysis of production data to understand process cost and identify avenues of cost optimisation.
- Verify customer purchase orders to ensure the PO price matches with approved prices.
- Lead and implement cost control initiatives as required by management.
- Support the finance team during high volume/peak periods to enable timely compliances.
Requirement:
- CWA Qualified with 3-5 years of experience in cost accounting and control in a manufacturing set up. Experience in food industry is preferred.
- Hands on knowledge in working with MS-Excel including preparation of reports and dashboards as per management requirements.
- Having working knowledge of ERP software preferably (SAP or Microsoft Dynamics)
- Ability to collaborate with procurement, production, operations, and supply chain teams.
- High levels of initiative with ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneously with conflicting priorities.
- Clear communicator who collaborates effectively across functions along with maintaining confidentiality.
- Ability to adapt to changes in a start-up environment and drive continuous improvement with problem solving skills
