Role Description The Cosmetologist role is a full-time, remote position focused on providing expert beauty guidance and support to L'Oréal Paris customers and internal teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising on product selection and usage, demonstrating application techniques through virtual consultations, and creating clear, engaging beauty routines tailored to different hair and skin types. The role involves collaborating with marketing and education teams to develop tutorials, how‑to content, and training materials that reflect current trends and brand standards. The Cosmetologist will answer customer inquiries, help resolve product-related concerns, and maintain accurate records of consultations and feedback to improve the overall customer experience. This position requires consistent virtual availability, adherence to brand guidelines, and proactive communication with cross-functional colleagues.
Qualifications

• Professional cosmetology expertise, including strong knowledge of hair care, skincare, makeup, and product ingredients.
• Experience providing client consultations, with an ability to assess needs and recommend personalized beauty routines.
• Skill in demonstrating techniques via video or digital platforms, with clear, concise, and inclusive communication.
• Familiarity with online tools and remote collaboration platforms; comfortable working in a fully remote environment.
• Strong customer service skills, including active listening, empathy, and problem-solving in customer-facing interactions.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow brand standards, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements for cosmetics.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and coordinate with global, cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certification or license in cosmetology or a related beauty profession, in accordance with local regulations.
