Role Description The Cosmetics Formulation Chemist will be responsible for developing and optimizing skincare, haircare, and body care formulations. Day-to-day tasks include researching raw materials, experimenting with active and botanical combinations, conducting stability and compatibility tests, and documenting formulation processes and results. The role involves close collaboration with manufacturing, regulatory, and branding teams to ensure formulas are safe, effective, scalable, and compliant with relevant standards. The chemist will also evaluate new technologies, support troubleshooting during production, and contribute to continuous improvement of existing products. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurgaon.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology or a related field.
• 3-6 years of relevant experience in cosmetic formulation/R&D preferred.
• Strong understanding of cosmetic ingredients and formulation principles.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory formulation and product development.
• Good understanding of emulsions, surfactants, rheology, preservation and stability.
