Key Job Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation and review of UAE Corporate Tax return filings for standalone entities, tax groups, and Qualifying Free Zone Persons.
- Assist in corporate and international tax impact assessments, due diligence, and advisory projects for structuring and reorganizations.
- Conduct detailed research and technical analysis on domestic and cross-border tax issues, including application of tax treaties and transfer pricing rules.
- Liaise with clients to gather data, prepare tax computations, and respond to queries in a timely manner.
- Prepare and maintain tax working papers, summaries, and reports with clear referencing and audit trail.
- Assist in preparation of tax provisioning memos and deferred tax computations under IFRS.
- Work closely with team leads to manage compliance timelines, coordinate with clients, and ensure quality deliverables.
- Support internal initiatives such as knowledge sharing, training junior team members, and process improvement.
Qualification
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in direct tax advisory or compliance, preferably in a Big 4 or mid-tier consulting firm.
- CA / CPA / ACCA / CTA / ADIT / LLM in Taxation or other equivalent qualification.
- Strong understanding of the UAE Corporate Tax regime, OECD principles, and tax treaty interpretation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in English is essential; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
