Position Overview
The CSR Manager Corporate Partnerships & Fund Mobilization will lead WHDC's engagement with High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs), corporations, and public sector enterprises (PSUs) to mobilize CSR funding, donations, and strategic alliances that drive WHDC's state and national missions.
This position is ideal for an accomplished professional who can blend corporate diplomacy with humanitarian purpose someone who sees CSR not just as compliance but as a legacy of impact.
The CSR Manager will act as the face of WHDC's philanthropic and corporate partnerships, representing one of the most respected global organizations in sustainable development.
Key Responsibilities
1. CSR Strategy & Relationship Management
- Develop and execute WHDC's CSR partnership strategy to mobilize funds and resources from corporates and HNIs.
- Identify potential partners aligned with WHDC's sustainability objectives and establish long-term relationships.
- Represent WHDC in corporate CSR forums, boardroom discussions, and philanthropic roundtables.
- Create partnership models for WHI, CRISP, and GAR frameworks under CSR mandates.
2. Proposal Development & Fund Mobilization
- Prepare high-quality project proposals, concept notes, and partnership decks tailored to corporate CSR priorities.
- Lead negotiations with CSR heads, foundation trustees, and senior corporate leaders.
- Mobilize CSR funds, donations, and in-kind contributions for WHDC's projects, campaigns, and community initiatives.
- Coordinate due diligence, documentation, and compliance for CSR agreements and MoUs.
3. Program Implementation & Reporting
- Collaborate with WHDC project teams to ensure CSR-funded initiatives are implemented on schedule and within scope.
- Monitor progress, measure impact, and prepare professional progress and financial reports for partners.
- Maintain transparent documentation and ensure full compliance with Companies Act, 2013 (CSR Rules).
4. Thought Leadership & Advocacy
- Position WHDC as a global thought leader in sustainability-driven CSR.
- Represent WHDC at conferences, CSR awards, and corporate events.
- Build a strong personal network with sustainability officers, CEOs, CSR consultants, and philanthropists.
5. Coordination & Teamwork
- Work closely with the National CSR Secretariat and State Mission Directors for project alignment.
- Support capacity-building workshops for WHDC's CSR team and partners.
- Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Communications departments to maintain standards of excellence.
Qualifications & Eligibility
Education
- Bachelor's degree (mandatory) in Management, Economics, Social Work, Environmental Studies, or related field.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, or Development Management preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience as CSR Executive and 3+ years overall experience in CSR fundraising, partnerships, or institutional development.
- Demonstrated success in CSR fund mobilization, MoU execution, or donor relationship management.
- Strong understanding of CSR policy, sustainability practices, and SDG alignment.

- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- High-level corporate network and confidence to engage with senior leadership.
- Strong proposal writing, analytical, and reporting skills.
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Hindi or regional languages preferred).
