About Dog Home Foundation

Dog Home Foundation is an animal welfare organization dedicated to rescuing, treating, and sheltering injured, abandoned, and helpless animals. We work on-ground with large-scale operations and aim to build long-term, responsible partnerships with corporates through CSR to expand our impact.

Role Summary

The CSR Manager will lead Dog Home Foundation's corporate fundraising and CSR partnerships. This role focuses on securing CSR donations, designing CSR-ready projects, managing end-to-end corporate communication, proposal development, presentations, compliance documentation, and impact reporting as per company CSR requirements.

Key Responsibilities1) CSR Fundraising & Corporate Partnerships
  • Identify and approach companies for CSR support (India CSR programs, PSUs, MNCs, private corporates).
  • Build a strong pipeline of CSR leads through networking, databases, CSR forums, LinkedIn outreach, and partnerships.
  • Set meetings with CSR heads/committees and present Dog Home Foundation's work and CSR project opportunities.
  • Negotiate CSR partnerships, donation value, scope, timelines, visibility, and reporting commitments.
2) CSR Project Design & Proposal Development
  • Create CSR projects aligned with Schedule VII themes (where relevant) and company CSR objectives.
  • Develop CSR proposals, concept notes, budgets, BOQs, and timelines for projects (medical care, shelter infrastructure, animal ambulances, fodder, treatment programs, etc.).
  • Prepare pitch decks, case studies, one-pagers, and corporate presentations.
  • Customize proposals as per each corporate's CSR mandate, geography preference, and reporting format.
3) Corporate Communication & Relationship Management
  • Act as the single point of contact for CSR partners ensure timely updates, communication, and coordination.
  • Maintain strong ongoing relationships to drive repeat CSR support and multi-year partnerships.
  • Coordinate corporate visits, impact walkthroughs, media/branding opportunities (as agreed), and CSR events.
4) Documentation, Compliance & Reporting
  • Coordinate documentation required by corporates: registration certificates, CSR registration, 80G/12A (if applicable), audited statements, utilization certificates, progress reports, and impact reports.
  • Ensure timely submission of reports, utilization details, photos/videos, and success stories as per CSR agreements.
  • Support MoU drafting and partner onboarding processes (internally/with legal teams).
5) Internal Coordination & Project Monitoring
  • Work closely with on-ground operations teams to gather project data, costs, timelines, and impact metrics.
  • Track project milestones and ensure deliverables are achieved for corporate reporting.
  • Create an internal CSR tracker: leads, stages, proposal status, funding received, reporting due dates.
Key Targets / KPIs
  • Monthly/quarterly CSR pipeline creation and conversion.
  • Number of corporate meetings and proposals submitted.
  • CSR funds closed (monthly/quarterly/yearly).
  • Partner retention and repeat contributions.
  • Timely submission of utilization and impact reports (100% compliance).
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 36 years experience in CSR fundraising, corporate partnerships, or institutional fundraising (NGO sector preferred).
  • Strong understanding of CSR landscape in India and corporate decision-making processes.
  • Excellent communication skills (English + Hindi), proposal writing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to design projects, create budgets, and prepare professional decks.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship building, and stakeholder management.
  • Comfortable with field visits, corporate meetings, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, PPT), CRM tools preferred.
Preferred (Good to Have)
  • Existing corporate CSR network and proven closures.
  • Experience in impact reporting frameworks and donor compliance.
  • Knowledge of NGO compliance documentation and CSR reporting formats.
  • Experience working with animal welfare / healthcare / social impact projects.
