Job Title: Sales Manager - B2B (MALE/FEMALE )

Job Location:Mumbai

Department: Sales

Reports To: Sales Director / Head of Sales

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager for our Insurance Brokerage team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the growth of our client portfolio, securing new business, and developing long-term relationships with corporate clients. This role requires a strong B2B sales background, experience in managing C-suite decision-makers, and a deep understanding of the insurance brokerage industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Acquisition & Business Development:

Identify and acquire new clientswithin the corporate sector (focus on B2B).

Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to target potential business clients and expand the companys client base.

Source new business opportunitiesthrough a variety of channels, including cold calling, networking, referrals, industry events, and digital marketing.

Create and execute effectivelead generationstrategies to generate interest and qualify new prospects.

2. Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships withkey decision-makersat the C-suite level (CEOs, CFOs to gain new business

3. Collaboration with Internal Teams:

Collaborate with the Underwriting Teamto ensure accurate and timely quotations and policies.

Analyze client requirements and customize insurance solutions accordingly.

4. Develop and execute targetedB2B sales strategiesto meet corporate sales targets.

5.Drive revenue growth by successfully selling insurance products to large businesses and organizations.

Experience:

Minimum5-8 yearsof experience inB2B saleswithin the insurance industry, specifically in ageneral insurance companyorinsurance brokerageenvironment.

Experience in managingRFQs and QCRsfor insurance products.

Sales & Business Development:

Strongcold callingand lead generation skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to build relationships at all levels.

Industry Knowledge:

A solid understanding of thegeneral insuranceindustry and the ability to sell a range of insurance products to corporate clients.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Education:

A bachelor's degree inBusiness Administration,Sales & Marketing,Insurance, or a related field is preferred.

Key Attributes:

Ability towork independentlywhile collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Excellenttime managementskills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

Industry certifications likeCII(Chartered Insurance Institute) or any relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
