Job Description

Manager – Corporate Sales

Location: Bengaluru

Company: DeskDyne, a Yagy Tech company

Experience: 4–6 years

Employment Type: Full-time | On-site and client-facing

About DeskDyne

DeskDyne is a technology-enabled corporate dining and workplace food-management platform helping organisations digitise and improve their employee cafeteria experience.

Our platform supports corporate cafeterias, food courts, virtual cafeterias, employee meal programmes, vendor management, ordering, payments, feedback, reporting and operational control.

We work closely with HR, Administration, Procurement, Facilities and Workplace teams to build efficient, transparent and employee-friendly dining programmes.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a process-driven and commercially strong B2B sales professional who can independently develop and close corporate accounts in Bengaluru.

This is not a transactional sales role. The person will be responsible for identifying suitable corporate accounts, reaching the right decision-makers, understanding the client's current cafeteria or employee-meal arrangement, creating a relevant solution, coordinating internal stakeholders and moving the opportunity towards closure.

The ideal candidate understands that effective B2B sales requires structured prospecting, disciplined follow-ups, stakeholder mapping, CRM hygiene, commercial judgment and ownership of the complete sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and manage a qualified pipeline of corporate accounts within the assigned city.
  • Identify and connect with decision-makers across HR, Administration, Procurement, Facilities, Workplace Experience and Finance.
  • Conduct structured discovery meetings to understand the organisation's cafeteria operations, employee strength, current vendors, commercial model, pain points and decision-making process.
  • Present DeskDyne's technology, operating model and commercial proposition according to the client's requirements.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle-from account identification and first contact to meetings, proposal, vendor alignment, commercial negotiation, trial or pilot and final closure.
  • Develop account-specific proposals instead of relying on generic presentations.
  • Map influencers, users, decision-makers, commercial approvers and blockers within each opportunity.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity stages, follow-up dates, meeting notes, probability, expected closure and next actions in the CRM.
  • Coordinate with operations, vendor-management, product and leadership teams during solution design and closure.
  • Drive opportunities with urgency while maintaining commercial discipline and realistic commitments.
  • Support pilots, trials, cafeteria assessments and initial client mobilisation wherever required.
  • Build strong long-term relationships with prospects and clients, beyond the initial sale.
  • Provide regular pipeline forecasts, competitor intelligence, lost-deal analysis and market feedback.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets for meetings, qualified opportunities, closures and revenue.
What We Are Looking For
  • 4–6 years of relevant B2B sales or business-development experience.
  • Demonstrated experience selling to HR, Administration, Procurement, Facilities, Workplace or senior business stakeholders.
  • Experience managing a structured sales cycle involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Evidence of independently sourcing, developing and closing new business.
  • Strong understanding of prospecting, qualification, discovery, proposal creation, negotiation, objection handling and closure.
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems and disciplined maintenance of sales records.
  • Ability to manage multiple active opportunities without losing follow-up discipline.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence in conducting face-to-face meetings, presentations and commercial discussions.
  • Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and site visits.
  • High ownership, persistence and execution speed.
Relevant Industry Experience

Experience in any of the following industries will be valuable:

  • Corporate cafeteria management
  • Facility management or integrated facility services
  • Workplace technology or workplace-experience solutions
  • HR technology or employee-benefit solutions
  • Enterprise SaaS
  • Corporate food services
  • Institutional catering
  • Commercial real estate services
  • Office operations or administration solutions
  • B2B managed services
  • Corporate travel, transport or employee-mobility solutions

Food-tech experience is not mandatory. We are more interested in candidates who understand consultative B2B selling, corporate decision-making and multi-stakeholder sales cycles.

Educational Qualification

Graduate in any discipline.

MBA or PGDM in Sales, Marketing or Business Management is preferred but not mandatory. Strong and verifiable B2B sales performance will be given greater importance than academic credentials.

What Will Make You Successful

You are likely to succeed in this role if you:

  • Work through a defined sales process rather than depending only on relationships.
  • Ask strong discovery questions before proposing a solution.
  • Understand how corporate buying decisions are made.
  • Follow up consistently without being reminded.
  • Keep the CRM updated with accurate and actionable information.
  • Distinguish between activity and actual pipeline progress.
  • Know when to push for closure and when to requalify an opportunity.
  • Can work independently while coordinating effectively with internal teams.
  • Take responsibility for outcomes instead of blaming product, pricing, leads or market conditions.
What This Role Is Not

This role may not be suitable for candidates whose experience is primarily limited to:

  • Retail counter sales
  • Distributor or dealer sales without direct corporate selling
  • Telecalling without ownership of closures
  • Lead generation without managing the complete sales cycle
  • Field-sales activity without CRM or pipeline discipline
  • Account servicing without new-business acquisition responsibility
Why Join DeskDyne
  • Work on a rapidly growing workplace dining and cafeteria digitisation category.
  • Sell a combination of technology, operations and managed services.
  • Engage directly with corporate decision-makers.
  • Own and build a city-level enterprise pipeline.
  • Work closely with the leadership, operations and product teams.
  • Get the opportunity to convert large corporate accounts and create visible business impact.
